The History |
-St. Bonaventure University Baseball found its roots in the rain soaked fields of Western New York in May of 1882. Due to this inclement weather, the Bona batmen were plagued with many short lived seasons. Even though Jupiter Pluvius has had his firm grasp on this quaint area in Western New York, the history of Bonaventure baseball is very rich and well worth researching. This site provides statistical information related to Saint Bonaventure Baseball, a short history of the St. Bonaventure Baseball program, highlights of the careers of some of the best players to on step the Bona diamond, highlights of some of the most influential coaches, as well as a brief history of McGraw- Jennings Field.
