The circulation department is located at the entrance of the Library. The "front desk" is the first thing you see when entering the Library. Here is where you check out all books and reserve material. Bring your Bona Express card to use all library services. Books should be returned to the front desk by the date stamped in the back of the borrowed book. Loan PeriodsDuring the Fall and Spring semesters, the loan period is 28 days for all undergraduate students. Graduate and honors students may keep books for one semester. During summer sessions, the loan period is 14 days for all students, since the sessions are shorter. Faculty members may keep books for one year. Exceptions: Curriculum Center books are loaned for 14 days for everyone, including faculty, graduate and honors students. Reserve items circulate for two to 24 hours, depending upon the item. Audio-visual material is loaned for 7 days, and videos can be borrowed for three days.
RecallsIf you have something checked out that another patron needs, you will be contacted and asked to return the material. However, we will not ask you to return something unless you have already had it for at least 14 days. Lost BooksIf you should lose a book, the replacement cost is $50 per book. If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to e-mail Mary Jane Baxter , circulation supervisor, or call (716)375-2346.
