Country Watch Login Assistance


If you are on campus and get a page that asks you to login when you click on the Country Watch database, here's what to do:

  1. Underneath the login and password prompt, click on "Login instructions and troubleshooting information." 
  2. Scroll down to "IP Address authentication."  Click on "Login via my IP address."
  3. The database will authenticate you as a valid user and you'll be re-directed to the database content you need!

NOTE: Our license for the Country Watch database requires that you use a campus computer connection.  This can be from any computer physically connected to our network (in labs, residence halls, and even the wireless network), or from any computer using the SBU dial-up service.
