Current Database Passwords--a new copy will be posted soon

If your professor has placed a copy of an article on reserve, you may access that material through this web site, or you may still come into the library and borrow the print copy as you always have.  To find an article, click on your professor's last name on the left hand side of this page.

Please keep in mind that it may take up to 72 hours, not counting weekends, for an article to appear on this site due to the time needed for scanning.  Articles are available via the print reserve service at the Front Desk in the library within 48 hours of when they are received by the library.

TIPS TO VIEW THE DOCUMENTS ON YOUR SCREEN:

bulletAll of the articles on this site are PDF files (portable document format).  To read them, you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  All lab computers on campus are equipped with this software.  If you need the software for your personal computer, you may download it for free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
bulletWhen using Adobe Acrobat Reader, please remember that you can magnify the image on the screen so that you can read the material more easily.  On your Adobe screen, you will see a percentage number with a magnifying glass next to it, near the bottom of your screen.  Click there to increase (or decrease) the size of the document.
bulletYou can rotate a document that is initially displayed sideways on your screen.  In the Adobe toolbar near the top of your screen, look for the icon that looks like a document with an arrow over it (when you point to it, it will say "Rotate document 90 degrees").

FACULTY:  If you would like to place something on reserve, please contact Mary Jane Baxter, Circulation Supervisor, at x2346 or via e-mail at mbaxter@sbu.edu
