Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan is a service that helps
eligible patrons obtain materials that are unavailable in Friedsam
Memorial Library. Please check our online catalog, FRIAR, to
see if the book or periodical title you are looking for is in the
library.
|
Please note: Allow at
least two weeks for materials to be received. If photocopies are
requested and received within two weeks, you are responsible for the cost
of those materials even if they have been received after they are of no
use to you. The charge for photocopies is .10 per page unless you
have been notified that the charge will be more. (There is no charge
for ILL books.) Arrival notification will be through e-mail.
Warning: The copyright
law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making
of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under
certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are
authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of
these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to
be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or
research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a
photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use,"
that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution
reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its
judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright
law. 37 C.F.R. 201.14
