DIRECTIONS TO REACH THE LIBRARY The St. Bonaventure University campus is located in southwestern New York State, just north of Pennsylvania and approx. 70 miles south of Buffalo. It is between the city of Olean and the village of Allegany on Route 417. The major east/west route is 17 / 86 (Southern Tier Expressway). The major north/south routes are 16 and 219. Routes 16 and 219 both intersect with Route 17 / 86. From Route 16, enter Route 17 / 86 (Southern Tier Expressway) near Hinsdale. From Route 219, enter Route 17 / 86 near Salamanca. Take exit 24 off Route 17 / 86 (Southern Tier Expressway). Make a left onto Route 417 East. The University is about two miles through the village of Allegany on the right. When you reach campus, turn right into the West Entrance from Route 417. Take College Road to Irenaeus Drive (the second road on the left). Turn left into Irenaeus Drive and park. The library building will be straight ahead of the parking lot (past the statue). If the parking lot is full, come back out of the lot and turn left onto College Road. Take your next left into the back part of campus (back West Entrance). Park in any of the lots to your left (they are marked on the map below with a "P"). The library is building #2 in the map below.
