Some Notes on the Clare 102 Lab Final Exam

i) Regular Time & Place:  December 14  , 3:45 PM; Murphy Auditorium
    Bring a calculator.  And one or more pencils.  Use of cell phones for any purpose is prohibited.

ii) Special Needs Alternative Location:    A duly signed form must be given to your instructor.

iii) There are no conflicts with this exam time.  There are no alternatives to the Regular Time & Place.

iv) The Option to replace a single nonzero lab score with a copy of the Final Exam score
     Must Be Exercised Beforehand!

v) The Exam is in two parts.
    Part I consists of multiple choice questions concerning the information content of the lab exercises. 

    Part II consists of a virtual lab exercise.
        A particular research project will be described.  Data will be provided.  You will graph the data.  You will answer questions about the linear regression of the data.  You will design a second experiment, similar to the one described.  You will be given some data.  You will carry out a COMPLETE t-test on the data.  You will evaluate the hypotheses on the basis of the p-value you have obtained.  Somewhere along the line you will convert some units & use scientific notation.
