Articles for Clare 101

Instructions

Please, look at the titles (you might even check the actual articles in the Friedsam library) and select the one you would like to review. Let me know in class or during my office hours which article you would like to review, and I will make a note of that. Articles will be assigned on the "first come" basis.

Reviews. Please submit a review around, or prior to the date of the corresponding session (e.g., article on Augustine on or around the day we discuss Augustine, etc.). The review should be around 3 pages long (double-spaced, standard font / font size). I would like you to summarize (i.e., explain in brief) what the main argument or contents of the article is. Further, you should explain briefly how it connects (most of them do) to the corresponding reading (e.g., what are some of the issues in the text of Augustine that we will read that also appear in the article). For this purpose you should read the corresponding text (e.g., Augustine) before you write the review.
