Course Removal/Inactivation

The Registrar will provide department chairs with offering information for courses listed in the catalog but not offered within the last five years by March 1 of each year. Courses that have not been offered at least once within the last five years will be removed from the catalog and made inactive unless the department chair provides some justification in writing for maintaining the course listing in the catalog within 30 days. Courses for which no justification is received will be deleted from the catalog. Deleted courses can be reactivated through the course reactivation proposal process.
