Consistent with its educational Mission and with standards of professional etiquette, St. Bonaventure University defines the following casual dress policy.
Casual dress during the summer months is permitted and is intended to coincide with the University's Summer Hours Policy.
Casual dress will be allowed during the summer as appropriate to each division within the University. It is the responsibility of each Division Executive to determine what is appropriate casual dress for the given division.
Casual dress differs significantly from "dressing down" and would preclude wearing clothing such as blue jeans, sweat pants, leggings, tights, shorts or short culottes, stirrup pants, sundresses, spandex, tank tops, T-shirts, sweat shirts, gym or tennis shoes, sandals or cowboy boots.
