Hatch Act Prohibiting Political Activity Policy

The Hatch Act is a Federal policy which states Federal funds cannot be used for Partisan political activity of any kind by any person or organization involved in the administration of Federally-assisted programs. (Hatch Act [5 U.S.C., 1501-1508] and Intergovernmental Personnel Act of 1970 as amended by Title VI of Civil Service Reform Act [P. L. 95-454 Section 4728]).
